Honey Moon Gathering 2025

The Bees Nest Project has been dreaming of a longer form gathering of woman to bring our creative, playful, decadent selves together. Years ago I listened an heard the name of such gathering called the Honey Moon... with 3 kids and 2 under 4 during the time I was daunted by the vision. However once sitting with the muse itself at my friend Nisha Moodley's home in a mini solo retreat me me and her the next step was revealed.

Picture a decadent curated retreat by a select potent group of unruly passionate woman - for eachother. Specifically woman I see as community tenders, space holders, spirit and pussy driven witches-animists and beyond-labels-woman. One of my super powers is being a social match-maker. I've intentionally followed my thread of delight when choosing whom to invite- I’m not a one clique gal over here and this gathering aims to reflect that. 

The Honey Moon muse has helped me curate those invited and many loved ones names have not made the list, please keep this close to your heart before the confirmed guest list is revealed .

WHEN: 

1. Virtual buzz (Zoom) vision call Friday February 28th : 6-7 Teams can coordinate in break-out rooms and make lists of supplies needed that can be turned into a sign up sheet for all guests. 

2. Honey Moon Gathering Saturday April 5th daylong (we can choose timing at meeting)

WHY?: A homeopathic version of a grander vision I've had as a birthday gift to myself making it happen! (my bday is April 3rd)

EXCHANGE: Your time and whatever resources go into preparing what you agree to bring

(I will personally have a small budget $ to add to crafts and food as well - but love resource collaberations)

WHERE:

Private venue

Venue accents we can integrate:

- wood fired sauna (can fit 6-8)

- forest/trail network through channel ridge to Sunset beach

- good sized indoor venue with sound system/mats/pillow etc.. (on the grid)

- orchard with pond- for all you mermaids

- a roundhouse gazeebo fire pit with seating up to 12-15

- loft library and cozy zone with beds

DAY FLOW:

SET-UP: 9:00 a.m-10:25 Saturday for those helping 

ARRIVAL: 10A.M.

THE ADVENTURE BEGINS!: 10:30A.m

STILLNESS GATE: 1ish

45 minutes of silence ~ where guests can choose to join the collective waters of the world and womb meditation vigil around the pond (suggested to be veiled and with a hot water bottle) or/and sauna. Or head into the forest/time-in zone (beds in the loft or in the studio) etc…

NOURISHMENT GATE: Noonish
